My name is Chris Miller, and I am one of the founders of the Marche. My persona is Madoc Arundel - an early 13th century military veteran from the southeast corner of England (near Gloucester) who accompanied Richard on the Third Crusade. On my return from the Levant, I took up the craft of brewing/vintning and have been doing so for nearly 30 years. In the real world, I am a retired Air Force colonel who spent the bulk of his career as a C-130 navigator. I used my GI Bill to earn a couple degrees including a teaching degree, and am currently a substitute teacher in Mercer County, PA. I have been a history buff for most of my life, a student of heraldry and genealogy since about 1970, and a reenactor since 1982 in multiple organizations.
