Hard Day's Knight
This is a "backyard" event established to help us meet people in the local area interested in our hobby. Hard Day's Knight has a little something for everyone. We have an archery range set up on site as well as butts for throwing weapons (axes and knives). Our local marshal will be running a bearpit tournament for those who prefer armor and heavy weapons. If anyone is interested, he will also be teaching steel fighting. Bad weather? No problem. We have a covered patio and a variety of medieval table games.
The site is wet. The host will have homebrew on tap. For anything harder, it's BYOB.
Limited crash space is available on site and there are a host of hotels at the Grove City Outlets just 4 miles away as well as motels and campgrounds within a 30-minute drive (Hermitage/Sharon, Greenville, Slippery Rock, Mercer, Lake Wilhelm, Cochranton, and Utica).

Dayboard Munchies and Evening Cookout
We are an army on the march. This is no formal banquet. Your hosts will have a variety of finger foods available throughout the day with a hearty cookout for the evening meal.

Evening Firepit
After dark, spend some time sitting around the firepit enjoying some beverages and good conversation, great stories, and maybe even a little singing. The Brewers Guild will be providing some home-brewed beverages or BYOB - the site is definitely wet!!
Heavy Fighting
Our marshal will be running a bearpit tournament for those who prefer armored combat, and may even demonstrate some steel fighting if there is sufficient interest.
Royal Rounds
We have standard circular targets set up at 20, 30, and 40 yards. Shoot 6 arrows at each, plus a timed round of as many arrows as you can fire at the 20-yard target in 30 seconds. Be careful... royal round scores become part of your permanent skill record as an Alendian archer.
Throwing Weapons
Our marshals will have throwing butts set up at 10 and 20 feet. Try your hand at both axes and knives. Some loaner equipment is available.
